“Жената днес” през март. Сурова супа с авокадо

Начинът на хранене е определящ за здравето на една жена през целия й живот, но всяка отделна възраст е свързана със специфични потребности на организма, с които ежедневното меню трябва да е съобразено. В мартенския брой на списание „Жената днес” ви представям най-подходящите храни за жената между 20 и 30 години и между 30 и 40 години.

Предлагам и една лесна рецепта за сурова супа, богата на полезни храносмилателни ензими, фибри и есенциални омега 3 мастни киселини.

  1. For the love of god clean everything as much as possible if you’re going to eat anything raw. And cook the peas! Especially if they’re frozen and non fresh! I had a bacterial infection from the peas when I tried this recipe. It has been one of the worst experiences in my life.

      I am really sorry for what you have experienced! Using raw peas is popular in raw cuisine. I have used raw peas many times in this particular soup as well in raw peas hummus without having any problems. Freshly-picked peas (1-2 days after picking) are sweet, with low starch content and suitable for eating raw. This is also true for peas that frozen within a day after picking. It might me that these particular peas that you used were not fresh and that caused the infection. If you are not sure about the quality of the peas or can’t have them organic, it is indeed better to cook them. This actually holds true for any vegetables. The sad truth is that the bacterial infection you experienced can be caused by a number of commercially-grown vegetables including lettuce which is supposed to be eaten exactly raw! It is therefore better to buy organic whenever possible.

  4. The soup looks good but the English translation is a bit off. I found this recipe via a link from another website. It displayed in Bulgarian. I hit the English button and it redirected to the home page in English. It would not simply translate the original page. I successfully searched for the recipe from the English home page. But neither the home page nor the recipe page displays your bio in English. Just thought you might want to know.
